Today India Couture Week kicked off its 5-day fashion fest with 11 top Indian designers slotted to showcase their latest collections. Who better to kick off the fashion week than the man with all the glitz and glam of Bollywood? Designer Manish Malhotra unveiled his latest collection “The Persian Story”, which he describes as a “tribute to luxury and showcases the story of majesty binding it with Indian aesthetics.”

Of course Manish has no shortage of Bollywood fans. He chose Fawad Khan to open his show and the gorgeous Deepika Padukone to close his show.  Manish is known for his breathtaking couture gowns and traditional wear and his latest collection did not disappoint because just look at these photos!

I love the off the shoulder top and the train!! It’s so glamorous and dramatic right? Manish Malhotra always creates collections that make you feel like you’re on a red carpet somewhere. Beautiful work Manish!
