Reuniting with H Dhami In Toronto: Behind-The-Scenes Interview

Toronto, H Dhami is back in town! It seriously feels like he is in town every other week, based on how often he posts about being in Toronto. Canada definitely loves him!

He’s back to perform at Desifest and I had the chance to catch up with him this week for a special one-on-one interview with him for ATN. It’s been a couple years since I last interviewed him so it was nice to see him again and catch up on everything he has been up to since then.

In my interview we talked about why Canada is a huge market for him (he gives Toronto a shout-out by featuring the city in his latest single ‘Clap It’). Last time I spoke with him he was an independent artist and had his own music label and now he is signed to VIP Records, so that was an interesting chat about the business side to the music industry. Can you believe he has been in music since 2007?? He definitely has had a lot of experience and has seen his share of highs and lows in the industry. All of that have helped him become more confident with the business and he tells me he has a number of new singles set for release this year (he mentioned he already has 4 lined up for release!).

Behind-the-scenes!

While he’s killing it career-wise, H Dhami is a big family man and has been married to his wife Aman since about 2010 and has two cute little boys. His oldest—Reece—is a heartbreaker and is one of the most stylish kids ever! If you haven’t checked out the adorable photos of Reece on H’s Instagram, go check it out! He is seriously so cute and yes H, I am available to babysit if you ever need me! 😉

Isn't Reece such a little cutie??? I love how stylish he is!

Oh and if you’re wondering if his kids are exhibiting any signs of the musical gene that has been passed on in the Dhami family…well stay tuned. H reveals Reece is already showing signs of being a natural at music and only likes to listen to Punjabi music! Let’s see if we see Reece dropping a kid’s Punjabi album anytime soon…
