After seeing the glitz and glamour at the Bollywood reception for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge William and Kate, I feel like a certain someone didn’t want to be outdone!

To mark his second anniversary of his government in power, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is sending out special A-list invites to a star-studded celebration party.

Who’s on top of that list? The three most powerful men in Bollywood: Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, and Shahrukh Khan! (Come on, they would probably be on top of your invite list too!)

The party will be taking place on May 26 at India Gate in Delhi where over 60,000 people are expected to gather for the 8-hour show, titled ‘Zara Muskura Do’. Amitabh Bachchan will open the ceremony which will feature a series of short films highlighting the Modi government’s achievements and will be telecast live. Other celebrities that are said to be invited are AR Rahman, Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, and Rajkumar Hirani, in addition to the Khans of course.

Can you imagine having all three Khans at your event??? That would be one hot ticket in town!

Shahrukh Khan was recently asked what he thought was the most important initiative made by the government. According to him, it’s the ‘Make In India’ campaign because it “propels companies in India and abroad to make things in our own country and our own land, thus creating job opportunities, skills enhancement.” As for the film industry, he acknowledged the campaign also helped them to take their culture, music across borders, and to spread the “word for what India stands for.”

If you’re hoping to see these superstars back on the screen, all three have a busy year ahead of them. Aamir is getting ready to release his film Dangal, SRK will soon be seen in Raees, and Salman has the film Sultan coming out shortly. Can’t wait to see more of these guys onscreen!
