First we have Preity Zinta get secretly married to Gene Goodenough in L.A. and now we have Urmila Matondkhar following suit with her own secret wedding!

The actress, 42, secretly married Kashmir-based Mohsin Akhtar, a businessman and model, on March 3. The Hindu ceremony was witnessed by her close family members and the only person from Bollywood in attendance was Manish Malhotra (who designed her wedding outfit). The wedding took place at her residence.

P.S did ya know Mohsin used to be an inhouse model for Manish Malhotra?

“We kept it an exclusive wedding with just family and friends at the celebration. Since our families wanted the wedding to be a low key affair we mutually decided to keep it private. We seek your blessings on embarking this new journey of our lives,” the newly wed bride said.

Matondkhar debuted in the movies as a child artist in the Marathi film Zaakol in 1980. As for Akhtar, he has not only modelled for Manish and other Indian designers like Vikram Phandis but he has also done a bit of acting (here he is in It’s A Man’s World) and rumour has it he was a runner up in the Time of India Mr India contest.
