It’s funny. Just the other day I was wondering what ever happened to Amrita Rao. She was on a roll with great roles in ‘Ishq Vishk’ and ‘Main Hoon Na’ but it’s been awhile since we have seen her in movies. I know she’s been focused on television these days but she still keeps a low profile and barely comes up in my media reports. Well she just resurfaced and this time it’s to let us know that she’s married!

Yup, Amrita revealed she has been dating radio jockey Anmol Sood for SEVEN YEARS (seriously how did I not know that?) and on May 15 they got married in an intimate wedding with only close friends and family. In true modern style, the couple announced their wedding on Facebook.

Later, Amrita released a statement to the media saying this. “It’s been a seven year of blissful relationship and I’m the luckiest to find a soulmate in my life partner. We have always been private about our personal life. This relationship was sacred to the both of us from the moment it began.”

So what’s their love story? According to Anmol, the two started dating after he interviewed her. Cute eh?

Congrats to the couple! Amrita can be currently seen on the TV show Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai and is already back shooting for it while Anmol currently works with Radio Nasha.
