Neil Nitin Mukesh<\/span> got engaged to Mumbai-based Rukmini Sahay<\/span> this past Tuesday in a hotel in Mumbai. The engagement was attended by close friends and family.<\/h4>\n

Who is the bride? We know she\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s 27, works in the aviation industry, and her family knows Neil\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s family very well.<\/h4>\n

How did they meet? The two were fixed up by Neil\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s parents and dated for a month before getting engaged. She\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s apparently won the hearts of the entire Mukesh family with her \u00e2\u20ac\u0153simplicity and upbringing\u00e2\u20ac\u009d. Neil\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s dad, Nitin Mukesh, says \u00e2\u20ac\u0153she reflects the values and traditions that Neil has been raised with and compliments him in every way possible. Neil is quite old school in his ways\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6he left the decision of finding his soulmate in his parents\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 trusted hands and there couldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t have been a better match for him than Rukmini.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/h4>\n

Neil spoke with a Mumbai newspaper and told them \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I have been hoping to find someone for the last two-three years, even mom and dad were talking about it for so long. Suddenly, on the first day of Ganpati, a common family friend mentioned Rukmini. I was supposed to fly to Sri Lanka for a show and was not even serious about it. But my father insisted that I meet her. And when I met her, I knew that she was the one.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d He later adds, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I think she is just perfect. She is the perfect balance that any man would want in his woman. She is simple, beautiful, loving, and all the awesome adjectives I can think of. She fits them all!\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/h4>\n

Now that he\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s engaged, does Neil plan on moving out of his family\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s home? \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I am not moving out. My father and mother won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t allow me to\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6and I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t want that to happen.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/h4>\n
