The Black Eyed Peas<\/span> are back\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6at least for awhile. They have come together to remake their 2003 hit single \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcWhere Is The Love\u00e2\u20ac\u2122<\/em><\/span> to take a stand against all the violence in the world this year.<\/h4>\n

I have always liked the song. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a well produced song but when you hear it, it makes you take a moment to be grateful for your life\u00e2\u20ac\u201dat least for me it does. Whenever I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m stressed out about being stuck in traffic or thinking how much something sucks because it wasn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t happening the way I wanted, I hear the lyrics talking about wars and people dying and how it seems like no one cares for one another anymore and my attitude would change. \u00c2\u00a0The song was released in response to the horrific 9\/11 terrorist attacks but the lyrics STILL ring true for all the tragedies that have been taking place. Doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t it sometimes feel like you don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t even want to turn on the news anymore because it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s so darn DEPRESSING to see what\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s happening in the world? \ud83d\ude41
\n\"IMG_20160902_135338_1\"I think I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m not the only one who feels this way about the song because with all of the hardships taking place around the world, the band decided to re-release their song with a new–very emotional–remake and they recruited a ton of celebs to help them spread the message.<\/h4>\n

The new video was released yesterday and it features celebs like Mary J Blige, Jamie Fox, Snoop Dogg, Diddy, Kendall Jenner, Cassie, Tori Kelly, DJ Khaled, Usher, A$AP Rocky, Nicole Scherzinger, Jaden Smith,\u00c2\u00a0 Justin Timberlake,<\/span> and more.<\/h4>\n

In the video you will also see they included police officers, influential figures, and family members of some of the shooting victims from the various tragedies that have taken place this year. For example you will see Sandra Sterling who is the aunt that raised Alton Sterling and Valerie Castile who is the mother of Philando Castile.<\/h4>\n

When asked why they wanted to re-release the song, Will told media that after the recent gun violence attacks and hate crimes, people would come up to him and say the world needed to hear that song again. So they decided to remix it. The band also told media they choose the celebs in the video in order to share the video as much as possible but especially to target the youth\u00e2\u20ac\u201dthey are our future and the ones with the power to create a better tomorrow.<\/h4>\n

BTW, everyone connected to this song including the Black Eyed Peas, Interscope Records, and iTunes<\/span> will donate ALL of their proceeds from the purchase of the song in the United States to the i.am.angel Foundation, which is a non-profit foundation created by will.i.am that is transforming lives through education, inspiration, and opportunity.<\/h4>\n

Here is the video: It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s actually quite beautifully shot and it does tug at your heartstrings. Who would have thought 13 years later this song would still be so accurate\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6<\/h4>\n
