After getting rave reviews for her performance in Neerja, Sonam Kapoor<\/span> has announced her next film will be with Kareena Kapoor<\/span> in the film \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcVeere Di Wedding\u00e2\u20ac\u2122<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The film will be produced by Rhea Kapoor with Ekta Kapoor and will also star Swara Bhaskar and newcomer Shikha Talsania. The director is Shashanka Ghosh who previously worked with Sonam on the film Khoobsurat.<\/p>\n

Is anyone else hoping they make the film similar to \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcBridesmaids\u00e2\u20ac\u2122? I love that film and it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s hilarious. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m actually surprised Bollywood hasn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t remade that film but hey maybe this film will be a version of it? I hope so!<\/p>\n

While I celebrate all female film casts, I hope the film doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t just rely on Kareena and Sonam\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s ability to draw in a crowd. The days of people buying tickets to go see anything their favourite actor or actress are staring in are long gone. You have to put out a good quality film. It can\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t be just the same old epic love story with lots of dance scenes. Considering both Sonam and Kareena just had success with strong female-driven films (Neerja for Sonam, Ki and Ka for Kareena), I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve got my fingers crossed for this one!
