Last night I covered two events: the Second Annual Great Outdoor and DIY show at the International Centre and the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at Mississauga Celebration Square.<\/span><\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

At the Outdoor and DIY show, I got to try my hand at welding and using a table saw. After trying both, I’ve come to realize that I may need to work on my welding and sawing skills. Stay tuned to see footage of me having a VERY close encounter with the table saw. I’m pretty sure I lost a few years after the experience! \ud83d\ude42<\/h3>\n

Thankfully, there were no dangerous close encounters at the Tree Lighting event. Well except for getting up close and personal with the talented guys of Neverest and Seam! Both groups were a blast to interview and I may have even\u00c2\u00a0gotten one of the guys from Seam to\u00c2\u00a0reveal his secret celebrity crush! Clue: she’s a hot Canadian pop artist and definitely easy on the eyes! Stay tuned for the interviews!<\/h3>\n

I also got to interview Canadian sweetheart Victoria Duffield. Her single “Shut Up and Dance” is constantly blowing up the airwaves and after watching her perform live on stage, I can definitely see a future major pop star in the making.<\/h3>\n
