India's Independence Day is August 15 but in Winnipeg, we had an official celebration on August 16th. It was great to see many of the same performers from Folklorama perform again on this day! Even the rain let up in time for the event and we had a beautiful sunny day to match our moods. Here is Mom and I by the beautiful stairway at the MB Legislative Building where the performances took place.
