Merry Christmas Everyone!

Hope all of you had a warm and safe holiday! My holiday was great. We just hit by a snow storm, which looks great when you're inside enjoying a Christmas dinner but not fun when you get sent out to the store and you try to drive on roads not paved clear yet of snow!

So I have some exciting news to share. I get so many emails from you with questions and such that I thought I would start an advice column on my website. Lots of the questions are similar so I figured this would be a good way to talk about topics that many of you are interested in. So start emailing me your questions....it can be on whatever: clothes, hair, makeup, education, pageants, modelling, etc etc. If I think the question would be something others would benefit from reading, I'll post the question with my words of wisdom.

Hello!

I'm thrilled to announce that I am working with Divya Kumar to bring his legendary Bollywood workshops to Winnipeg!

As you know, I've been training for the Miss India Worldwide pageant and Divya is a popular Bollywood choregrapher who has choreographed countless performances including  for Bollywood celebs, pageants, and movies. I'm so excited to bring Bollywood to Winnipeg so others can experience the passion and the power of Bollywood.

Aside from Bollywood, how is your Christmas preparations going?? I'm so looking forward to enjoying the holidays with my family and friends and just relaxing. I'm also getting nervous as the end of December signals that I have about 2 months left before the big pageant in Durban, South Africa!!! Where does the time fly??

Hey Everyone!

I had the opportunity to go check out So You Think You Can Dance Canada on tour! I went with some friends and caught the live concert show. How can you NOT want to sign up for dance classes after watching that?? Amazing routines. I didn't have a chance to follow season 2 but the night summarized the whole season for me. So glad to see some great Canadian talent getting the opportunity to do what they love and get recognized

Other than that, I have been busy with work and pageant activities. I actually tried out this bootcamp class, after a friend suggested it, and it was awesome! It's a great way to get focused and work out your whole body.  I worked out muscles that I don't think I have ever worked out lol. I couldn't lift my arms the next day but it was worth it as I felt great afterwards. Hey nothing is ever easy right?? I think I'm going to continue it, along with my cardio workouts and trying to eat healthy.  I'm going to try to be good during the Christmas season but hey, some sweets here and there never hurts

Speaking of Christmas, we have our Christmas tree up now! It's super chilly here in Winnipeg but on the nights I get to stay in and be warm, it's nice to look over at the tree and listen to Christmas music. 

I'm still making my way through the first book on my reading list. Has anyone started reading any of the books on my list? Let me know how that is going for you!
