Recently I caught up with Faisal, owner of Brown Man Clothing. We chatted about how only five years ago he started the popular t-shirt line out of his home and now he has the only South Asian clothing line carried at Sears. Amazing achievement in such a short period of time. Can't wait to see where he takes the company in the future.

Just got my hands on a copy of the newly launched magazine. The pictures look amazing! If you're getting married, there is tons of great information on wedding ideas, vendors, and even a feature of real life weddings. I loved doing this photoshoot and getting all dressed up in beautiful Indian outfits.

It's the holiday season and what better way to celebrate than to attend some fabulous parties?

I was invited to attend NetIP's annual holiday party. I brought along my ATN cameraman Alex and had a chance to chat with some members of NetIP. A big thanks to the NetIP executive committee for making me and Alex feel so welcomed!

NetIP is a great group to join if you're looking to meet other young professionals in your area. They have chapters across North America and offer a lot of interesting workshops to help you advance personally and professionally. Definitely check them out!

Hey Everyone!

I'm pleased to announce that I'm the newest TV reporter and host for the Asian Television Network (ATN). I'm really excited about my new role! ATN is a great network with amazing people who have always supported me during my many media press tours. I can't wait to explore Toronto and bring you all the latest news and interviews with your favorite personalities and celebrities!

I've already began covering various stories. From entertainment and party segments to my recent interview with Member of Parliament Parm Gill and Minister Tim Uppal about issues facing Canadians, it's been a very interesting start. One thing for sure in this business is that you never know what's going to be happening from day to day!

Today I chatted with MP Parm Gill and Minister Tim Uppal about issues brought up at a recent press conference. While several issues were brought up, many people spoke about their concerns of immigration. Canada is a country known around the world for encouraging immigration and diversity. However, some recent high profile cases involving marriage fraud have exposed the other side of Canada's immigration laws. I spoke to both MPs about their thoughts on the issue and what they are doing to help Canadians. It was a very interesting discussion so make sure to watch the interview!

Last night, I was invited to attend the Fourth Annual Midweek South Asian Awards. This event recognizes the top South Asian talent in various fields-from business to sports! There were also performances by a great Bollywood dance troupe and an appearance by Bollywood actress and former Miss India Sayali Bhagat. I met some really great people at the event including a reunion with one of my friends and fellow Miss India Worldwide Canada, Minu! I've known Minu since my first ever pageant when we both competed in Miss India Canada. After that, I was delighted to pass on my crown to Minu when she won Miss India Worldwide Canada. With both of our crazy schedules, we haven't had an opportunity to get together or even be in the same country for a long time. So it was really great to reconnect with her and catch up!

While the Christmas holiday season means the temperatures outside are getting colder, my favorite part of the holidays are the parties! Last night I attended Anokhi Magazine's French Connection Holiday party with my girls. I've been a fan of Anokhi magazine for years so I was thrilled to attend the party. The party did not disappoint! We couldn't stop eating the amazing food and checking out the latest French Connection holiday collection while getting tips from the onsite makeup and nail specialists. I think the major holiday theme is sequins. I saw so many cute sequin dresses and skirts at the fashion show. You seriously can't go wrong with incorporating something with a little sparkle to your holiday outfit!
